What are softs? The term "softs" generally refers to commodities that are renewable. If it can be grown,

economic imbalances. The three main groupings of soft commodities are: food, fiber and grains.
1. The food group includes: coffee, cocoa, sugar, and orange juice.
2. The fiber group includes cotton and lumber.
3. The grains group includes: corn, soybeans, soybean oil, soybean meal, CBOT wheat, KCBT wheat, rough rice, and oats.
