Natural Fibers

Natural fibers are fibers that either come from an animal, a vegetable, or a mineral.

Natural fibers that come from an animal include: alpaca, angora, camel hair, cashmere, catgut, chiengora, lama, mohair, silk, sinew, spider silk, and wool.

Natural fibers that come from vegetable include: bamboo, coir, cotton, flax, hemp, jute, kenaf, manila, piña, raffia, ramie, and sisal.

Natural fibers that come from mineral include: asbestos, basalt, mineral wool, and glass wool.
